1970!

 So to start off with, the year of 1970.......

         April 10th: Paul McCartney publicly announces the break up of  The Beatles.

         October 4th: Janis Joplin singer/song writer dies at age 27. The Rolling Stone magazine ranked Joplin at number 28 of 100 of the best singers ever.
